Microblading

Our Microblading specialist is fully trained by Brow Perfect. It is highly recommended that before booking any form of semi-permanent makeup, you do your research and check the technicians training, qualifications and examples of their work before proceeding with any treatment.

What to expect during your Microblading treatment:

The first part of the process is a consultation. This is normally done as part of your initial treatment, but it can also be done separately if you would prefer to chat everything through beforehand.

During your consultation, we will discuss the look you are trying to achieve and what may be recommended for you. This is very much a two-way conversation.

Once we have an idea of the look you are aiming for, the design process will begin by drawing on the brow shape with a makeup pencil.

We will NEVER begin the tattoo process until you are completely happy with the drawn design.

Using a state of the art microblading hand tool, tiny precision hair strokes will be created, one by one, by hand, to mimic the direction and lengths of your natural brow hair (if you have any).

If you don't have any or much brow hair, a natural looking brow will be designed for you.

Pigments are then implanted into the channels created by the microblade in the dermal layer of the skin. The sensation is similar to a little scratch but you should not feel any discomfort.

The treatment itself generally takes around 1 to 2 hours to complete and will leave you with instant, highly defined ultra-realistic looking brows.

As with any permanent makeup treatment, the brow area can initially look 40-50% darker than the colour you have chosen in consultation but this will fade within 4-5 days to reveal your chosen colour.

A retouch appointment is usually needed 6-12 weeks after your first treatment.

This is usually a 30-60 minute appointment to add more pigment to the brow area.

This is recommended because as the brow area is healing, some parts may not ‘hold’ the pigment as well as others and you may have a few patches that need more colour.

This is completely normal and everyone heals differently. Whatever the case, you are always advised to book back for your retouch with 6-12 weeks from the initial blading session.
